the College of Medicine, University of Basra, under the patronage of the President of Basra University, Prof. Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Khalil Ismail Al-Hamdi, and in cooperation with the College of Medicine Al-Zahraa and the College of Dentistry, held a scientific workshop on the latest developments in breast diseases. The workshop was held on Friday 22 / 5 /2020 at nine o'clock in the evening and on an application free call conference call.
included four lectures that discussed the first lecture given by Professor Dr. Mazen Al-Hawaz, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Al-Zahraa, Conservative Breast Surgery, and the second lecture given by Mr. Assistant Dean of the College of Medicine, Assistant Professor Dr. Qais Kazem Baqer, breast cancer triple receptor negative, and the third lecture given by Dr. Asaad Muhammad Kazem the teacher In the College of Dental Medicine, HER2 Positive Breast Cancer While the fourth lecture delivered by Mr. Associate Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Al Zahraa, Assistant Professor Dr. Jawad Ramadan, showed the preferred role of sentinel lymph node biopsy in the current surgical practice of breast cancer.
