The College of Medicine, University of Basrah, celebrated the University Day within the corridors of its building on Wednesday, 26 / 4 / 2023 .
The celebration was attended by Prof. Dr. Ali Himdhi , Assistant of university President for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Nawfal Ali Mubarak, assistant dean of Administrative affairs at  the college of Medicine, Dr. Qusay Mohammed Hussein, Head of the Student Activity Unit, Dr. Jalal Abdel Zahra, and a group of medical college teachers and staff.
The celebration included an exhibition of painting and photography, the final games  of the pingpong  and chess competitions in the college, in addition to scientific innovations, and the opening of the first edition of a novel written by one of the college students and other paragraphs.
At the end of the celebration, the college honored the distinguished students who obtained advanced positions at the level of Iraq and the university with financial prizes and certificates of appreciation.
