The lecturer in the department/ college of Medicine, University of Basrah, Professor Dr. Ihsan Idan Al-Simri participated as the head of a discussion committee for doctoral student Qasim Hammadi Abid   from the college of Science, University of Babylon, on Tuesday, 9/5/2023. The research discussed an immunological study of psychiatric patients. The research also dealt with the identification of different immune standards and some hormones that affect the immunity and health of the body in patients with mental diseases at Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital in the holy city of Karbala. The research concluded that there is an influential relationship between immune factors such as interleukin 1 with the emergence of mental diseases. The researcher also studied serological and molecular immunological factors and obtained his doctorate with distinction.
