The President of the University of Basrah meets the President of the Federal Public Service Council


 

 

The President of the University of Basrah, Dr. Saad Shaheen Hammadi, met with the President of the Federal Service Council, Mr. Mahmoud Al-Tamimi, in the Council building, and discussed with him the university's need for scientific and administrative specializations that would develop and support administrative and technical capabilities at the university in the presence of the President of Sumer University

During the meeting, the focus was on resolving the issue of the top class elite  students who are graduates of the morning and evening studies and seeking to return those who were appointed in other ministries and return them to the formations of the Ministry of Higher Education, especially the University of Basra, because of the need for their specializations, as well as the urgent desire of this segment  of the graduates in the university that they belonged to throughout the study period and excellence.

The two parties also discussed the issue of holders of higher degrees and the university's right to receive teachers, especially the rare specialties needed by the university colleges , including the medical group.

For his part, the President of the University of Basra praised the efforts made by the administrative and technical staff of the Council in auditing the data of graduates of universities, colleges and institutes and coordinating with the competent ministries for the purpose of equitable distribution according to need and specialization.

He also stressed that the meeting was fruitful and positive and comes within the framework of the administrative and professional responsibility that falls on him in following up on everything related to the university in the subject of human resources and enhancing its need for the workforce.

In the same meeting, the President of the Federal Service Council noted taking into account the need for universities and the specialization of their faculties, as well as the need to qualify functional structures in them.
