The Dean of the college of Medicine , University of Basra, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, attended the meeting of the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq.

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges and in the presence of the Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq, where important topics were discussed, including the Creativity and Excellence Award and the evaluation exam for students who did not take the exam for compelling health reasons.

It was also approved to transform the study system in the college of Medicine from annual to semester system , provided that it will be applied gradually from the first stage, in addition to discussing many other matters.

The meeting took place electronically on the Zoom platform on Sunday, 24/9/2023.
