The Dean of the college of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, has received the President of the University of Quya , Dr. Mohammed Hassib Siddiq and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations, related projects and common frameworks in all fields, and the formation of joint research teams as well as joint scientific research.

During the meeting, which was attended by the deans of the colleges of Quya University and the assistants of the Dean and the Rapporteur of the college , the Dean  explained the role of the college of Medicine in the academic, practical and research fields, and specialized studies that support the scientific orientation of the university and serve the community, stressing the importance of continuous scientific cooperation between educational institutions in Iraq.

For his part, the visiting delegation praised the warm reception and efforts made by the Presidency of the University of Basrah and the Deanship of the college of Medicine to improve the educational reality in the country.
