The college of Medicine University of Basrah held the ceremony of raising the Iraqi flag on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Iraq and the start of the new academic year. The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, stressed that this national occasion comes to renew the determination to make a bright future for new generations and the need for the Iraqi people to come together.

He added that the college of Medicine, as it prepares to receive its new students and opens its doors to announce the start of the new academic year 2023-2024, it invites its students to prepare for this academic year through perseverance and diligence.
