The college of Medicine, University of Basrah, hosted the scientific trip for high school students, Shamuaa Al-Amal private school for Boys, which is the first school to visit the college from the north of Basrah, where they were warmly received by the Media and Public Relations Unit and arts trainer Entisar  Majid. The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Murtadha Mohammed Saleh Al-Musafer, and the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Moussa Khattar, who in turn gave a lecture to students on the history and system of the college of Medicine in receiving its students. The scientific trip also included touring all the corridors of the college, such as the museum, classrooms, the library, the garden, the student club, the laboratories of physiology and pharmacology , and the rest of the other departments. This visit comes to the entertainment of students, to inform them of the features of the college of Medicine, to tighten the determination of students and raise their scientific level. The school's students enjoyed getting to know the medical school.

The school administration also expressed its great happiness and thanks to the college of Medicine for this scientific trip.
