The Women’s Empowerment Unit at the College of Medicine / University of Basrah has organized a scientific symposium on the phenomenon of harassment . The symposium, in which Colonel Ali Hamid Mohsen Al-Rikabi from Basrah Police Command. The symposium aims to raise awareness of the importance of combating this phenomenon. The symposium topics address the concept of harassment, its types and causes, and explain the negative effects resulting from it, and how to treat and ways to address this phenomenon. In addition, it clarifies the legal texts that guarantee the victim’s rights and deter the harasser.
