The  University of Basrah -  College of Medicine, held a scientific symposium on the symptoms of the respiratory system in children. The symposium aims on focusing on the latest developments in corona disease in children, methods of diagnosis and treatment. The symposium recommended the need to recognize the symptoms of the disease in children and diagnose it early, especially during the pandemic. The symposium also emphasized the necessity for Pediatricians to be aware of the clinical signs of acute dyspepsia syndrome of the affected children, and the need to treat these cases in Intensive Care Units. According to the approved international recommendations of the importance of using the High flow nasal canula device as a successful primary treatment method for patients with complications of the disease, especially acute dyspepsia syndrome, and eliminates the need of the artificial ventilator.
